Join us for the 11th Annual Big Sioux River Greenway Cleanup — the largest litter-removal event in Sioux Falls! The cleanup takes place on Saturday, April 25, from 10 a.m. to noon. There will be seven check-in stations located in City parks along the recreation trail that follows the Big Sioux River through town.
Volunteers can pick up cleanup supplies at check-in stations, including maps, trash bags, and plastic gloves. Please complete the volunteer sign-in below to pre-register for this event. Pre-registration saves you time on the day of the event and helps us ensure each station is stocked with enough supplies.
This is a wonderful opportunity to give back, celebrate our community, and keep our waterways clean. Each year, tons of trash are removed from the greenways — but we can’t do it without you. Sign up below!
Please note:
· Each volunteer must sign a waiver before receiving cleanup supplies and volunteering for this event. Waivers will be available on the day of the event at each of the seven check-in stations.
· The cleanup will take place rain or shine, so please dress for the weather.
